Wade Ceramics, local manufacturer of high-quality ceramics, is delighted to continue to lend its support to The Hanley Building Society’s Potters ‘Arf Marathon, with free ceramics for all competitors.
The Potters ‘Arf Mararthon is the biggest race in the area. In existence since 2005 and with a prestigious city centre finish, the event has grown over the years and now attracts around 2000 competitors aged 17 to 80, from all over the country.
From the starting gun of the very first race, the ‘Arf has been seen as a community event, with local people and businesses raising many thousands of pounds for Staffordshire charities.
Wade Ceramics has supported the race for the last two years, supplying coasters for all finishers and also Gluggle Jugs for the winning male and female teams.
Paul Farmer, Wade Ceramics Managing Director, said: “The ‘Arf is a wonderful event for our local area. This is something for the whole community to get behind. Everyone at Wade is proud to help make it such a big success.”
