Since 1978, the Star Bikers have been holding motorcycle runs in Stoke-on-Trent to raise money for local charities.
A ‘Run’ consists of a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who travel along a designated route in the form of a parade. The riders will collect Toys, Easter eggs and other gifts from members of the public along the way. All the donated gifts are gathered together and handed over to local services who then distribute them to local charity groups, hospitals, schools etc. At the end of the run, the bikers and members of the public join together where there are plenty of fun and games to get involved with, all of which take place to help raise more money for charity.
Our Health and Safety Manager, Steve Alcock, has been involved with these Toy and Egg runs for over 20 years!

Wade staff have always been keen to support the Toy and Egg Runs that take place in Stoke-on-Trent.

The most recent Egg Run took place on Sunday 22nd March 2015 and was a huge success. Thankfully it was a nice dry day and approximately 3000 bikers took part! Around £6000 was raised for local charities along with lots of Easter Egg and toy donations. What a fantastic outcome!
