Wade Ceramics have signed the Armed Forces Covenant to show our constant support of the Armed Forces. Our military fulfil a responsibility on behalf of the Government that requires facing danger, and sometimes suffering serious injury or death as a result of their duty.
Those who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces, whether Regular or Reserve, and their families, should face no disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services.
By signing the Armed Forces Covenant we are promising that no member of the Armed Forces community should face any form of disadvantage, and in some circumstances, special treatment may be provided, particularly for the injured and the bereaved. By recognising those who have performed military duty, we can unite, and demonstrate their power of contribution.
Wade is the ideal workplace environment for ex-serving personnel, reservists, and Armed Forces veterans looking to return work in the civilian sphere – as well as highly valuable skills, those who have served in the military are teambuilders, problem solvers and possess a keen eye for detail. We also support military families, providing flexibility in granting leave regarding the deployment of a spouse.
As a nation we have a moral obligation to the members of the Naval Service, the Army, and the Royal Air Force, giving them respect, support, and fair treatment. That is why at Wade Ceramics, we are delighted to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, to ensure that serving personnel, veterans and military families face no disadvantage and receive the respect they deserve.
